FAQ
This is difficult to define.  In some regions schools are able to take action when the school equipment is used in inappropriate messaging, or the on line interactions are interfering with the learning environment.

What seems to be the most effective is when schools have built policy on bullying and cyber bullying, with parent and student input.  This multi-stakeholder approach works best as all parties have input and the policy is developed by all and widely accepted by all.  Behaviors as well as consequences need to be clearly outlined.

These expectations then need to be taught to the student body.  Parents should be able to sign off on an understanding regarding these policies.
